UPDATE: **Sold** was $5500. I initially thought this was a Scamp, but we have confirmation it is a VEEP.
(02/25/2023) Listed as a VEEP, I thought this was a SCAMP based on the front grille design with the recessed lights.

“1979 Jeep HN,4 SPEED VW MOTOR WITH DUAL CARBURETOR, HYDRALIC BRAKES,NEW TOP,RUNS GOOD. CUTE JEEP.. SPENT MOST OF ITS LIFE IN OREGON ,AND IN ARIZONA DESERT..SERIOUS ONLY”
Looks like a GM HEI, dizzy, using only 4 outta 8 lugs. Never saw that trick b4.
It’s actually a Veep – I know because when I bought it a few months ago the original builder gave me the Hadley Engineering Veep build instructions with it (he built it in ‘79. It’s a 2110cc, and that distributor is HEI, but one specifically made for this application (not a GM skipping lugs) like the one made by Performance Distributors. I just rebuilt the carbs and it runs like a top.
It looks like it’s going to be a fun project!
Thanks, I greatly appreciate the correction. I’ll have updated the post (and marked it sold, as the link no longer worked).
