“1963 DJ-3A Willys. Was originally a Surrey Gala jeep so it was pink from the factory. It does great on the trails but I just don’t have the time to make it what I want. Built by guys from Warn in the 90s, so it has all the goodies available back in the day. Warn Black Diamond link kit 4 link rear with tj springs and fox/warn shocks. Front is radius arm with fox/warn coilovers Ford 2.3 ranger motor with a motorcraft 2 barrel carb and MSD ignition. T-18 ford trans with a dana 20 tcase and Warn planetary overdrive unit. Dana 44 axles front and rear with 5.38 gears and detroit trutracs Rear axle has a warn full float hub kit 35 13.5 krawlers with full size spare. Weather checked but hold air and have great tread. Switchpro copycat pushbutton accessory panel Warn quick connect winch wiring front and rear with cradle. Onboard air tank under rear end with pressure switch. Soft top and bikini Nice cage Cool old willys with tons of potential and good old school parts.”
I see in the ad it says Ford T-18 transmission mated to a Dana 20 transfercase with Warn Overdrive. I thought you could only have a Warn overdrive with a Dana 18.
That looks entirely too cheap and too good to be true.
Mike,
Maybe it’s actually got a rare Sierra overdrive (http://www.ewillys.com/2020/02/21/sierra-overdrive-brochure-and-instructions/) rather than a Warn?
Or, it has a Dana 20 with Dana 18 internals, so the shaft goes out the passenger side of the TC?
Or
I suppose if Warn really did built this jeep, then, if anyone could, they could certainly figure out a way to make a standard Warn OD work on a Dana 20.

Nothing other than the statement it was pink from the factory so it was a Surrey Gala. Might be a Surrey body but nothing else DJ3A, no serial number given.
