For this year’s SEMA show, Jeep created the CJ “Surge”, an electric prototype with a few nods to the past, include the look of a CJ-6. Thanks to Barry for sharing the video.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I could be wrong but the EV badging reminds me more of the CJ-5 V6 emblem than a V8. C’mon Dan Zimmerman!
Andy, yes, that’s exactly what it was supposed to resemble. The CJ-5 V6 emblem.
