UPDATE: **SOLD** for $3500 on eBay.
Bill shared this auction for a CJ-2A with a rear PTO and gearbox. The by-it-now price is $5000.
“Up for auction is a 1946 CJ2A Willys Jeep that is a very good Agri-Jeep restoration prospect! It has the rear implement output drive gear box, implement drive shaft assembly, and a PTO (needs rebuild). There is an original rear tow ball mount. The body is very straight including the fenders. There is some filler in both of the side steps, drivers side front and rear fenders.
The windshield opens up with the inner glass frame held by the adjusting brackets. Willys logo on the w/s frame is an early transition type with the Willy badge tacked to the lower panel and needs repair, as you can see the rusted edges in the pictures. The front floor panels are rusted. Matts cover them nicely, but restoration calls for a new floor panel. Tool box has been sealed, so replacement if a floor change works well.
Proper wheels with tires that are just fair…..add your own preference. They take the 6:00 x 16 tires. The engine runs nicely. All fluids have been changed. Suggest re-greasing the axles. It has new shocks all around, new brake lines (brakes just serviced), new radiator (I have the original should you want it), new water pump, rebuilt carburetor, new fuel pump, rebuilt starter, rebuilt alternator including a new proper mount, new Interstate battery. The main lights work ok with directional signals not working.”
