This jeep has a few interesting mods. For example, a small modded-item holds the radiator in place using the holes from the grille’s footman loop. Or, I can’t remember seeing a power brake setup with a clutch master cylinder mounted to the unit like this one (is that custom, aftermarket, or out of something?). “Obtained from a substantial collector out of the Fresno, CA area back in 2017. Odometer is a custom VDO and reads 05588, representing the miles placed on her since the complete reconstruction. Our current Owner has enjoyed the streets of Plumas Lake, CA and while not a big ‘wheeler’, has enjoyed the top-down scene offered by California’s fine weather. She has a clear and clean CA title in our Owner’s name.
New steel tub creates a CJ2 style Jeep atop a 1942 frame. Complete frame off was performed during it’s restoration and modification. Chrome accessories detail the body with plated hinges, latches, light rings and custom fit bumpers. Frame is reported as fully powder-coated. Soft-top canvas covers the interior and is reported to be in good shape, just not a perfectly tight fit. We finish with bead-lock styled one-piece aluminum rims and Wild Country off-road radials. And don’t forget that clean fit Warn winch riding up front.
Gray two-tone velour upholstery is simply stunning. Carpet w/padding is fit and removable for cleaning. Dash has new VDO gauges throughout. Custom, practical and accessorized, you’ll find a full roll cage with upper center console containing stereo, CB and switching. Centered is a handy interior light. Turn signals, electric wipers, power steering and power-assisted brakes balance the street capabilities along with her off-road prowess.
Powered by the venerable Buick Dauntless V6, she’s 225 cid platform bringing balance of lighter weight and reasonable power. She is reported to have been rebuilt prior to the build. Backing is a granny first geared 4 speed manual transmission, a Dana 18 transfer case all married with a Warn 3314 over-drive, giving us a plethora of shifting options. Off-set Dana 44 sits at the rear, and if you do a serious review, you’ll see she’s a full floater and can be released from indenture via Warn locking hubs. Suspension components are reported to be upgraded and contain Rancho components. Rear end is 4:27 gears and has Detroit lockers. All wiring is new, 12 volt, from stem to stern. Drum brakes are located on all four corners.

I’m not sure how that clutch was set up, but I’m thinking that could be just a reservoir that’s been bolted to the vacuum canister.
But I’ve been wrong before! Once! Lol
Roger, one mounting ear of the reservoir is on the master cylinder mounting stud/nut. From what I see is it could vibrate an years down the line the ear could break (brake? LOL) off and be left hanging by the hose, dripping fluid.
