Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

I had one of these coloring books as a child back in the early 1950’s, What caught my eye even back then, was the Orange & black license plate, same shape and color as New Jersey plates of that era. Some things you never forget, early childhood memories stat with you for a lifetime.
EXCUSE ME ?? — BUT I SEE NO SPICER MOD 25 FRONT AXLE UNDER MR BRADYS RIDICULOUS CJ-WHATEVER ?? — AND — WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE BUILT UP BODY EDGES ?? — IS THAT A MACHINE GUN PORT ON THERE ??
Vernon: to be fair, you have never liked Pat Brady. And, it is an artist’s rendition…
Mike: I thought about getting it, but at least one of the pages had been partially cooored.
I can see the appeal of this… (says a guy who will seldom admit to having a mint condition coloring book of his favorite childhood TV show…Whirlybirds).
Seriously, Like the “PIC” poster above, I never did understand the armoured car look to Nellybelle.
I know the Jeep was sold a few years back when the Rogers Museum collection was disbursed, anyone know where it is now?I
And is it a military Jeep or CJ-2?
John B,
The “armored car” look was to hide a driver, when Nelly Belle would take off and drive it self. Pat would run after Nelly Belle. Scenes such as this, took place mostly at the end of each episode.
John B: I don’t know where it is now, but it sold for $110,000 at that auction including auction fees. It’s a CJ2A.
If I remember correctly, part of the reason for the big price was that it was auctioned as part of a fundraiser (but I could be incorrect on that). Unfortunately, my emails with the previous owner (Pam) from the early 2010s are long lost.
The last time I saw the jeep for sale was in 2016 (http://www.ewillys.com/2016/10/24/nelly-belle-for-sale/). In the comments section within that post, Terry mentioned that the “original” Nelly Belle was apparently rebuilt, so how original the jeep remains is unclear. (more on the jeep from the 3B page: http://cj3b.info/Siblings/Nellybelle.html).
There was also a copy of the Nelly Belle (labeled Nelly Belle II) that has been on and off for sale since 2010. I don’t know what happened to that version. http://www.ewillys.com/2020/02/26/1946-cj-2a-nellybelle-ii-cave-creek-az-15000/
