Barry Thomas’ photo of this farm working CJ-5 landed on the cover of this month’s Farm Collector Magazine. Congrats to Barry! (it is great photo).
If you have a subscription to Farm Collector Magazine, you should be able to read Barry’s article, too.
Looks great……brings back memories of the wonderful smell of the dirt in the Spring after being turned over by a plow. Sadly, I think maybe Spring has been cancelled here in Wisconsin and Iowa ! Need to get a subscription……or start stealing my brother’s second hand copies !
A number of people have been able to access the article at https://www.farmcollector.com/company-history/jeeps-on-farm-zm0z22mayzram/
I’ve also post some background on the story at https://www.farmjeep.com/2022/04/09/the-farm-jeep-on-the-may-farm-collector-cover/
Thanks,
Barry
Great article Barry.
If you will be at the show in Aurora at the Bertram, stop by the Big Top.
Bring an empty Flash Drive…
Thanks Keith, I really appreciate that.
I do plan to be at the Reunion.
This is very cool Barry
Thanks! When I started going to antique machinery shows a decade ago, I would often be directed by staff to park with the antique trucks. I had to explain that I was showing a real tractor. So showing up on the cover of a tractor magazine is a big deal.
