“FC-170 Dually flatbed.
Runs but motor is tired.
1964 aluminum head 300 V8
Original T98 Four Speed transmission.
Rear axle is stock Dana 70 with powerlock.
Front 44 has been gone through.
All new brakes.
Have seventh wheel for the spare.
Very little rust especially for an FC.
Clean Washington title in my name.”

    would you consider this t-98 a top shift ? — it doesnt have the normal top cane shifter — not a side shifter like the t-96 , some t-90’s and t-86’s — i rebuilt a t-98 completely for my 67 cj-6 v-6 — i found all the original jeep-brand cast iron adapters in a wrecking yard — i realize that a 67 cj-6 v-6 didnt have the 4sp option , but the f-134 model did — i’m still looking for the 4sp cj floor plates — the last of the v-6 cj’s did have a 4sp option , 1970 , 1971 — but by then it was the later t-18 4sp and it was the close ratio 4sp , not the granny low , which reminds me , my dear departed grandmothers last name was LOWE — my new 1966 28K original dodge d300 stakebody has the dana 70 rear axle like this dually fc-170 — it has 4.10 gears , 23 spline axles , i’m looking for a powr-lok or a detroit locker — i think with the dual rear tires and a locker and the new process 435 close ratio transmission , i may be able to keep it a 2wd or 4 rear wheel drive and not convert it to a w300 power wagon — though if i find a parts w300 , boom ! , then it will be a POWER WAGON !! — UKRAINE HERE I COME !! — SEMPER FI !!
