This a totally restored Jeep the original owner invested over $30,000 everything is rebuilt are replaced. You have to see it to believe it. All original drive train with a add on overdrive, that adds 10% to top end. That’s the extra stick you see in the floor with the 4 wheel drive. It has a new body, that wasn’t prepped right and the paint is peeling in some places. I have all the receipts pictures of a the rebuild. New springs tires brake steering box and all steering linkage new steering wheel seats gas tank total drive train rebuilt new wring 12 volt new radiator. New top and doors, electronic ing.
I hate to sell it but I’m getting to old to get in and out of it. I learned to drive on a 1948 on the farm Dad traded the 48 for a 1952 which he kept until 1967. Needless to say this is memory lane for me, when I saw it I had to have it. I hope whoever gets it has the same thrill.
I have recently install the blocks on hood for the wind shield when it is layed down.”
$30,000 rebuild and they cant get a good paint job?
The high tech paint finishes are septuple to temperature variations and critical time frames when applying base coat clear coat. Also, exact thickness of application is required, a too heavy coat will result in flaking and peeling. Not easy to do, requires practice & skill.
