UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1850.
Looks in decent shape and includes extra rims/tires.
“$1,850 – Or Best Offer
For a 75-year-old trailer, this one is in pretty excellent shape. This is either a 1946 or 1947 Bantam T3-C 1/4 ton trailer. I’ve owned it for a couple of years now, with the intention to turn it into a overland like trailer.
I have an extra set of rims with military style tires, but all these tires need to be replaced, the rubber is pretty old on these. All the rims are in inner tube style rim as well. The bolt pattern is 5×5.5″ with a hub opening of a hair over 4.75.”
Included is two stabilizing jacks, a roof rack system that I was going to do a custom install on, and the four tires. I believe I am the third owner of this trailer, the last owner had had it since the ’60s. The data plate is a reproduction I had made last year, though the original data plate has been lost the last owner did have record of the serial number of the trailer, which places the trailer around 1946. The original color was likely red on this trailer, but it was painted blue in the ’70s.
The trailer does need some minor work for old rust damage in the bed, though the bed is in pretty good shape. The axle and the hubs are in good shape and were regreased last year. The tail light does work, I only used it a few times for minor errands, with the intention to spend a lot of time on it this summer, but alas, my loss is your gain. I did remove a bracket on either side towards the rear of the trailer with the intention to do some repainting, when you look at the trailer bed photos, it’s the hardware and that plastic bowl (To which, I don’t believe those brackets were original to the trailer).”
Craigslist link doesn’t work. Is this still for sale. Interested if it is.
Hi JLoughin,
It looks like this trailer has sold. I’ve updated the post. I looked on the Portland Craiglist just now; I could not find any Bantam trailers for sale currently.

Hi Jennifer,
I run ewillys and just happen to live in WA (Prosser, WA). If you’d like to email me pics and info to d@deilers.com I can post this for you on eWillys (it is free) and perhaps answer any questions you have.
Thanks,
