UPDATE: Here’s a rare example of the S&B Corp’s All-Steel ‘Jeep’ Panel Body. This Buck & Sons Tractor & Implement Company MB/GPW had a cargo-wagon-like setup added to it. The company was out of Tacoma (where I lived for four years).

I don’t know exactly when these were sold, but I imagine in was late 1940s, early 1950s. I can’t remember seeing a surviving example of this, but I do have another brochure from a company that appears to leverage this design for mobile movies. I’ll send you that brochure.

I love this but I wonder about its weight.
cant weigh any more than the kelly hardtop on my 67 cj-6 v-6 — the old man i bought it from said the top weighed 500 pounds — i believe it , its heavy gauge steel — when the forest service owned it , they turned it over , its top heavy , i need duals to stabilize it — speaking of duals , i spotted a fc-150 today abandoned in a yard near the ***** river , its got duals , no rear fenders , i’m going to try to get it , good ranch vehicle …
