UPDATE: Chuck called on this ad. The owner says his grandson listed it, but the owner is not interested in selling it. Was listed at $4500.
This “all original” truck sports a V-8. It also has a gov plate. A forest-service shaped sticker suggests this was likely a forest-service vehicle.
“1957 Jeep Willys pick up all original has a 289 Engine has some rust in the bed this is a 4 x 4 truck is pretty much all their original”
I called on this Ad a few weeks ago and spoke to the owner. He was a talkative and nice fellow. Apparently his grandson listed the truck on craigslist, but he says he doesn’t want to sell it.
Chuck,
Well that’s interesting and good to know. I’ll update the ad.

I called on this truck, the man who answered said it is his wife’s truck. Red Flag #1. He then said she wanted $6000 for the truck. Red Flag #2. As I already had been scammed once by another seller, I decided to run his name. He comes back with multiple addresses in the San Jose area. He was also listed in the Ripoff Report. Red flag#3 It was for selling a car that wasn’t his’. When I questioned him about this he said those were all business addresses he had in the area and that the report was from years ago. He and his wife apparently own a body shop in the San Jose area.
Thanks for the report Ray. That’s so frustrating to hear about!

I could be dead wrong, but the stamping on the GSA plate looks different than others I’ve seen.
