UPDATE: **SOLD** Was No Price.
Seller must sell.
“Own a very rare piece of History. Only 4000 made, some didn’t come back from Vietnam. This is a 1955 M170 Jeep Ambulance 🚑 in very good condition, this is rare, will absolutely turn heads
Must sell moving, would consider trading for a side by side”
Very nice looking. I wonder what the best market/forum is for selling these? My late friend’s 1954 fully outfitted M170 is still for sale but it seems to be a specific market. Is there an M170 group where these can be listed? Maybe a Korean War or Vietnam M*A*S*H group? Actual sold prices appear strong, but not as many buyers/collectors as I would have thought.

Joe,
Do you have it listed at G503? I think they are a tough sell. Other than collectors, there isn’t much demand for them.

Would love to know if this is still available? Very interested if so.
Thank you for any help
Hi Logan,
It looks like this one sold. I’ve updated the post.

I like them but was put off by high asking prices and some with incomplete interiors.
I’m not saying they aren’t worth what sellers are asking, only that they are a lot of money….about twice what M38A1s go for.
Due to their rarity, you don’t want to modify them, and except for playing Army Doctor, there isn’t much you can do with them.
Now if I had a matching Bell H-13E, G or H… (That’s the MASH helicopter for those of you who don’t speak aircraft) it would be the perfect set piece.
Also my wife was a nurse in the British Army…and she doesn’t seem keen to relive those days…:)
