Mike spotted this nice looking wagon. It has the f-head rather than the Tornado.

“1964 Jeep Willys Wagon. Inline 4 cylinder. 3 speed on the tree. Overdrive kick in above 35 mph with lock out. Good tires. Starts easily. Runs and drives great. Clean interior. No radio. Wipers intermittently work. Blower appears to work and provide heat. Fuel gauge does not work. 5 digit odometer. Not perfect but is road worthy. Any questions just ask”
If the front turn signals are stock, it’s a 1964. Willys switched to amber ones late in the game.
IRRC, this is what previously was marketed as a “Maverick:” 2wd, F head, chrome around the back and side windows, fancy speedo surround… Can’t remember which year Willys stopped calling this a “Maverick.”
Nice ride, IMO.
This wagon has such a nice stock look to it, considering today’s super high prices these wagons are listed for, (Way too Much) this one has a FAIR Price. A stock 2 wheel drive, not hot rodded out, you can keep your hot rods, in today’s marketplace, this Willys wagon is somewhat unique.
Dan: we should be able to determine when Willys Motors stopped the Maverick advertising, given the amount of 1961-1963 literature that’s out there. Sounds like a good future post.
