Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

This is rare and unusual, looks to be a Holmes wrecker unit and body from a later era, if indeed operational, would be a unique FC170 to own.
I’m not on facebook so I can’t contact you to express my interest

Steve, this is still available. There’s not contact info provided in the text, so you’ll need to find a way to contact the seller through Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/649536632584214/
Thanks,

Mike: That makes sense. The bed looked familiar, but I couldn’t place it. I have a Holmes brochure around here somewhere.
My guess is a 1979 (or slightly newer) Holmes 440 tow body but definitely not old enough for an FC.
Steve,
I sent the seller a FaceBook message with your contact info. I’ll email you if he/she replies to me instead of contacting you directly.
Good Luck!
Considering it’s been for sale for so long, may not be saleable at this price. There is a market for old used Holmes wrecker bodies, F/B pages have lots of guys restoring old Chevy C30 & Ford F350 cab & Chassis models. I’d split them up, sell the Holmes and FC separately, recoup my investment that way.
Seller is not computer savvy and explains why he never received notices. his number is 928-339-1880 and he is still interested in selling, plus he also has more FC’s for sale.
Igor, thanks for the update! If I can help him in anyway, just let me know,
– Dave
