Listed as a 1974, this is a 1956-1963 CJ-6. I see no data plate that indicates this was ever in the military. Strangely, a dummy head appears in a few of the shots.

I have not seen those vents on the sides before, I assume aftermarket or from another type of vehicle. There was a lot of work put into that front storage box, you would think with a CJ-6, there would be room inside for that ammo box. The seats look original, was there a 8 seater, 2 row option available from the factory?
Mark, I didn’t recognize them either. They looked similar to the vents on DJ-5s, but those don’t have the border around them like the ones installed on this CJ-6.

I don’t have any update on this, other than to say that the Craigslist ad link no longer works. It could have sold or the link could have expired. I’ve updated the ad and will contact you if I see the jeep reposted.
