“Willis jeep 1958 4×4 6 cylinder standard. May or may not run motor is not locked up. This jeep is below value. [hidden information] Will trade for 55 chevy 2 door body. or 67 or 68 camaro body”
I missed it before. This has a 4 speed not an automatic as it says in the ad.
I’ve seen folks often indicate automatic when there’s a stick. I’m assuming it has something to do with the way a person enters the vehicle on the form.
when you say 4sp — you mean T-98 !!! ( GRANNY LOW 1ST )( 6.32 ) ( I HAVE A FRESHLY REBUILT ONE ON MY WORKBENCH ) ( ALL THE ORIGINAL CAST IRON ADAPTERS FOR A JEEP 225 V-6 ) ( GOING IN MY CJ-6 V-6 WHEN I CAN FIND THE CORRECT 4SP FLOOR PLATES FROM A CJ-5 ) ( CUT REAR DRIVESHAFT ) ( EXTEND FRONT DRIVESHAFT ) ( I DONT THINK ANY CJ-6 V-6 EVER HAD A T-98 , T-18 OPTION ) ( CJ-5 V-6 DID ) ( LATE 60’S )
I drove a T-98 behind a Ford Pinto engine in a CJ-5. It was a great jeeping combo.
