What is a mini-terras?

It’s one name for the style of tires on the gray jeep. They have a tread similar to a Goodyear Terra Tire. These tires also have been marketed mini terrors: http://www.ewillys.com/2013/02/03/mini-terror-tire-ad/
Circa 2010 these tires were being remade (http://www.ewillys.com/2009/08/04/builds-geralds-1963-cj-3b/), but as far as I know they are no longer made.

Those are great looking tires. Strange it looks like one says “Hercules tera trac” and another says something like “Hankook.. winter…”

They are probably recaps, so different tires were used for the carcass of the recap.

Chris … yes, I agree, likely recaps. Someone in WV was recapping them just a few years ago. I’d hoped to stop by and see if they were still being made, but we ran out of time.
