“This 1957 Willys Jeep Forward Control FC-150 is powered by a 134ci Hurricane inline-four mated to a three-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. The truck is said to have been refurbished by the prior owner over the course of the past two years, and it has been repainted in beige with a white top and grille. Replacement items include the radiator, fuel pump, exhaust, clutch, parking brake, leaf springs, tires, speedometer cluster, steering wheel, and windshield. A Solex carburetor has been installed, and the vehicle has been converted to a 12-volt electrical system with an alternator. Acquired by the selling dealer in spring 2020, this FC-150 is now offered at no reserve with invoices and receipts, spare parts, and a clean Florida title.”
Looks like somebody forgot to do the body work and painted over the dents with base coat, no clear. Notice flat finish. Looks clean, but who are they fooling, Certainly not me. This example of a “restoration” (that’s a stretch) is more of what is called “slob art” in NJ.
Sold for $12,400
