Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

I like Snoopy with his flying dog house, my kind of car-toon art.
Me too.
Very interesting artwork on this Jeepster. My 1960 Surrey has Daffy Duck in a sailor suit on each side of the body. The owner who had it before me had it painted on. He also had a orange CJ 3A with a cartoon bear on it. He owned Pioneer Jeep Garage in Peabody, MA. He also had a Maverick Station wagon with a cartoon figure painted on it. Since Amherst, NH is not very far away, I am wondering if this Jeepster ever visited Pioneer Jeep Garage or was ever owned by that Garage. Would be cool to find out if it was, and the cartoons were painted by the same artist.
I always imagined if papa Smurf could drive, it would be a Willys “Crackerbox”wagon. I painted a few cartoon characters on my vehicles, my 1962 Willys blue & white wagon, of course has Smurfs painted on the rear windows.
Some vehicles just seem to lend themselves to be associated with certain cartoon characters, an example of this is when a cartoon of the 1930’s, had happy elves bottling sunshine in glass milk bottles and delivering the bottled sunshine in cartoon like Divco milk trucks. The cartoon title is ” The Sunshine Makers”. Not all of the copies feature the Divcos, that was inserted after the Borden Milk Co. realized the connection. and it worked, always one of my favorite cartoons as a kid, and still is.
Another example is a commercial from the 1990’s for twister’s candy, Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head drive a Nash Metropolitan.
Colin: Good thinking. That would be fun to find out. Maybe the seller knows?
