Not a jeep, but it runs and just seems, as described, like a beast!

“Runs and drives great runs on gas 6 wheel drive works great wench works but needs the pto shaft! It pulls like a beast and has low low and will crawl over anything! Needs some tires but that’s it! Have a v plow that will go on it for $600”
Looks like it might be a diamond t 5 ton 6×6 WW-II vintage
I couldn’t imagine plowing snow with that. Lacking a cab, you’d be covered in snow after the first 1/10 of a mile!
Anyone have a clue as to what the contraption on the back was for? My guess is that this was a bomb transporter in its life with the Navy.
Correction: torpedo transporter.
Mark … I’ve updated your comment … spell check creates some interesting sentences sometimes; I know that lesson all too well 🙂
It’s a 1942 International M 5-6 used by U.S. Navy and Marines.
The attachment on the back looks to be a yarder attachment from a skidder for logging. There probably is a winch in the back and the cable would go through the rollers and choke the logs to drag them.
Here are some images of an International M 5-6: https://www.o5m6.de/redarmy/ihc_m_5_6_318.php
