UPDATE: Still Available.
(02/19/2020) This may have some late model Free-Lock hubs. I can’t tell for sure. It’s got a CJ-3A windshields and hood. The fuel inlet is not original. This might have a reproduction tub?

“We did complete “frame off” restoration a few years back and less than 200 miles since, mainly to car shows. Actually won “best in class” at one. Converted to 12 volt but all original other wise. We do still have the 24 volt generator if desired.”
Looks like the trailer passenger fender also saw some action.
Hood looks like one from a CJ, and there’s something odd about the fuel fill.
Richard. Good points. Not sure what I was thinking when I first looked at this jeep. Either the inlet was reconstructed during a restoration or the body is a reproduction and the inlet wasn’t restored correctly. The body is missing a variety of M-38 specific parts. Here’s a good one for comparison: http://www.jeepcollection.com/portfolio/1951-willys-m38/
Thanks I really like eWillys it’s great, been looking a few years for a nice M-38 reasonable priced. Also thanks for pointing me to the jeep collection great comparison.
wrong carburetor
Carl,
Thanks for the input. That’s one thing I have yet to document: the right carbs for the right engines and jeeps. Too many carbs and models!
