Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This poor Jeep… its been for sale on Craigslist and Facebook by atleast 4 different people in the last year.
First person tried to strip it, second tried it for parts. Third person took more parts off it and tired to sell it for less, this most recent owner tried to sell the top first or trade for more parts. At $1800 this is the highest price its ever been listed for. Its a nice mostly complete M38 but the price isn’t there. I’ve seen it in person when it was first listed last year by someone else, and he refused to sell it whole, he only wanted to sell me parts
