UPDATE: Price dropped to $7000.
Ranger Bob suggests this could have been a 1963 that could have been on the production line when things switched the 1964 model (see comments).
Though listed as a 1964, I imagine it is earlier (maybe 1963) given the Willys stampings. It could use some body work and paint. Still, it’s hard to find a 1960’s 3B for sale.

“Putting my 1964 Willys CJ3B up for sale. I’ve had a lot of work done to it in the last few weeks as you can see from the photos. These are not getting easier to find and to have one that has a hardtop and is in good condition with all original drivetrain and low miles is nearly impossible, especially on the east coast. I will NOT respond to any pre-made Facebook messenger messages. May be interested in trades depending on what you have. Please don’t waste my time. Price is $7,500 obo”
Underside rusty. Probably needs new floors. Was used as a snow plow so 41,000 hard miles.
This Jeep could very well be a 1964. It could have been on the production line when Jeep shut down for the month of August in 1963. Anything on the line would be titled as a 1964 when the line started up in September. I have a 1979 Jeep J-20 that has the trim of a 1978 but was shipped to us in after Jeep started up in September.
Thanks Bob. I didn’t think of that!
Look at the air scoop vent by the passenger heater hole. Never saw that before. Homemade I guess.
As I am looking for a ’64, this one popped up and I spoke with this guy about the Jeep and he gave me the last 6 of the VIN. I told him about the CJ3B info website and suggested he register it in the survivors sections. I checked the VIN on the website and it’s already listed. It’s this one here. https://www.cj3b.info/Owners/Hrischuk.html?fbclid=IwAR360YNaKSUcVKxet4HLJ00ETbOnXc6ZtH-1gmtwpzs-Lg-sKYTSJJlr-Bo
