Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

This would make sense if price dropped $8000 more.
Not sure if seller has knowledge of what is there. Not close to original, but for the mods under the hood alone would be worth mentioning. For one it has two sets of valve covers and I think 6 sets of plug wires indicating a v6 motor to me. Also looks to have PS, swing pedals, cross flow radiator with electric fans to name a few.
Roger, it may have even more than meets the eye, like a rear flanged Dana 44 axles, can’t tell from the pic, but it might even have an open knuckle 30 in front. I’m surprised it doesn’t have an OD – maybe has higher gears? Imho, whoever built this Jeep built a nice little Jeep. This would make a fun daily driver.
It has enough levers that is probably does have overdrive. Looking at the gear shift location it has some other transmission. Has an aluminum radiator. Tilt column. The clutch operation is hydraulic. Dual master cylinder suggests that it may have disc brakes too.
@Blaine;
You’re right. I didn’t see the hurst shifter all the way over there. That would make it probably a Muncie rock crusher close ratio 4speed with an added OD on a Dana 18 tranfercase. Bet this is fun to drive.
The current description has this “Modified rebuilt 4 cylinder engine with less than a 1000 miles on it.”
It is a very modified 4 cylinder made into a V6! lol.
