“7 FT. WESTERN SNOW PLOW HAS NEWER ANGLE CYLINDERS. PUMP, RELIEF VALVE, CONTROL VALVE, HYDRAULIC TANK AND MANUAL CONTROLS. MOUNTING BRACKETS, ARE OFF OF A 61 WILLYS PICKUP.”
Good deal, excellent price for a complete set up. Looks to be a Western plow, these suckers are super heavy duty, much heavier than a Meyer. Always favored Western over Meyer.
Likely not a Meyer. The Westerns I’ve seen in my days, have been electric-hydraulic & red. Not that it couldn’t have been repainted, but the yellow may indicate a Fischer. Those were engine-driven pumps. It is a shame the cylinder frame runs through the sheet metal.
RDJeep, you must be too young to remember straight Hydraulic Western plow setups, have them on both my CJ Jeeps, although most preferred the electric type, these Western plows had the curved top edge which made them identifiable as Western brand. The yellow you see is rust.
