“Selling a running and driving 1952 Jeep Willy. This is one rare breed of jeeps and a driving one that gets attention wherever it goes!! Such a fun little Jeep to drive around town and the beach. It gets smiles whenever it’s on the road and the wind blowing through your hair in this classic is the best Cali feeling in the world!! Don’t miss this opportunity to get this rare classic and make some great memories doing so!! It has a 4 cylinder 4 speed manual and runs strong! Suspension is tight and handles well for what it is.”
Get an air cleaner on that thing. Only thing that does is keep the mice out.
Are those the wheels that take hubcaps?
Gayland: My DJ-3A rims have similar bumps on the outside of the inner circle that “secure” the hubcaps in place. I am not as familiar with the five lug versions of these rims, but I’d say the answer to your question is yes.
That said, I learned a lesson the hard way that you need to carefully pound those caps COMPLETELY into place. Otherwise, one might come loose while going down the highway and scare the crap out of some poor guy towing his boat…. I never did find that hubcap; It’s probably still along Highway 18 near Maple Valley.
