Might be worth a look.
“Finish this restoration. 1948 Willys Jeep CJ. Due to illness, cannot finish. Good body with primer coat, new gas tank, new seats, rebuilt starter, 12volt alternator. With a little TLC, this jeep will be ready to roll.”
Hello,
I am moving into retirement to Frankston, Texas, from California, next month, it’s South of Tyler off Hwy 155. I am sorry to hear about your health; I have dealt with Jeeps all my life and now, would like to finish restoring one of my own; Yours looks real nice and it would go into a good home, lots of care and restoration. I could show you pictures of the ones I have restored in the past !
Anyway, I’ve been through Lindale on my way to Mineola, where I will bank. I am also a member of the MVPA, the Military Vehicle Preservation Association which has a Club branch in Emory, TX.
If the jeep is still available, I would like to stay in-touch with you and see if we could meet soon. With these travel restrictions, etc… It’s hard to predict exactly when I will get here, but I am packed up and ready to roll. I have also your phone #, I hope to hear from you either way.
Be well, stay safe !
thank you,
Erik Barthelemy

Hi Erik,
Given the Craigslist ad has been deleted, I’d believe this CJ-2A sold. I’ve updated the post.
