UPDATE: Still Available. See email addy in the comments if interested.
This is a former railroad truck. Looks like the door reads “Loch’s Service Station, Watkins, MN”.

“1951 Willys Truck Wrecker All original 54k miles Runs and drives good 4×4 winch plow boom little rust. Original patina former railroad car when new. Check out this cool truck”
Cool truck, but Id check the frame very closely right in front of the rear spring hangers. When they break in half that’s where it happens and this one looks close. Hopefully its something else making the bed and cab relationship look funny!!!
Valid point Ted, just looking at that myself. I’m a big fan of old tow trucks, and the boom on this Willys looks like it came off another truck, much too high for this Willys, extra added stress on the frame.
I’d just love to have those doors & tailgate for hanging in my shop! GREAT patina, & that body would look great on a straight frame. I agree, looks like they used too big or high a boom & bent the frame under too big a load.
Truck is still for sale. montanakinger@hotmail.com
Great Dan, I’ll bump the ad forward to the front page on Monday morning.
At that price, who would be surprised it’s still available.
