“1953 WILLY JEEP….RUNS GREAT…..REBUILT….NEW ITEMS INCLUDE: wiring, tires, shocks, gas tank, glass, seats, upholstery, top, hoses, gauges, brakes, exhaust system, 4 cyl engine rebuilt…….”
Looks like someone cleaned her up good. But she looks like she’s had a long life.
I’m not surprised that this Jeep is still for sale, $10,000, get real. A spry can paint job does not cover the dented drivers side dent at the rear bottom corner. They invest a ton of money in mechanical parts and short change the body work. Body work can be fun, (sounds like a new coffee table book) Try it, you’ll like it.
This is same jeep for sale a few months back. See large Heinz ketuchup can top in engine compartment.
This thing has been on and off CL in Tucson/ Phoenix for the last year or more. I’d be highly suspicious of its legitimacy. One ad from PHX recently looked like a dealer.
The dealers are cashing in, and in the process, jacking up prices across the board. As a result, every guy that owns a old Willys and a can of spray paint, thinks he is sitting on a gold mine.
