Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

2) i’ assuming is 4×4….but dont see the turn key on the front wheels…can you explain?
3) it comes with the ” tend ” / roof ?
4) Do you have the service records you made on the car?
5) what is the yellos tube that is on top of the left wheel?
Thanks and we keep in touch
Hi Lucicano,
If you have any other questions for the seller, you’ll need to contact the seller through the Facebook Marketplace and you’ll need an FB account to do that: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/865585680541459/
I can answer some questions for you.
1) That’s a military antenna setup. Since this jeep is actually a civilian jeep, the antenna (well none of the military equipment) was original to this jeep.
2) Yes, this is 4WD. Early jeeps like this CJ-2A did not come from the factory with ‘selective’ hubs; instead, jeeps came with stock axle caps, like the ones on the front of this one it.
3) No information is included in terms of whether it includes a soft or hardtop. None is shown in the pics.
4) You’ll need to ask the seller (via Facebook) about any service records.
5) If you mean what is the tube mounted to the fender? That is a military fire extinguisher. It would not have been mounted on the fender of a stock CJ-2A.
I hope that info helps,
– Dave
