This is a good example of a CJ-2A chassis with a replacement body that’s being mistakenly sold as a “military jeep”.

“Let’s go play Army! I have a military issue 1946 M38 Willys jeep for sale. It has been fully restored and has military issue tires, not reproductions. You can be General Patton. Eisenhower, or Radar O Riley; live your fantasy! Starts, runs, and drives perfect. Come see and test drive. $23,995 OBO.”
There used to be a time when guys who were into Willys Jeeps, were as unique as their vehicles, that is to say, they had a genuine interest in Willys Jeeps because of their unique history. Today’s marketplace, it’s just the money that counts, factual information plays no part in selling a vehicle for many sellers. Sad to say, but true.
The guy’s delussional…run of the mill CJ for 3 times what it’s worth!
