“1942 Willy’s MB Jeep As shown, not running. Needs work to finish up. Was told the motor was rebuilt when I bought it. I have no time to finish it so time to sell it. Can provide plenty of photos. Have serial number tag for frame. No title/bill of sale provided. Might consider trade/cash deal for nice gas golf cart.”
has no glove box and missing full floater rear axle.worth checking out, bummer that there is no title
Agree- wheres the glove box? Makes me assume tub is aftermarket. No floating rear axle? Buyer Beware.
Looks like a aftermarket body ,based on a 41/early 42 MB ,CJ2A frame ,maybe, bad thing is no title….
Yep, I should have looked at this one more closely, but didn’t have time.
Note too…it’s got a ‘square’ sump only found on early slatgrille’s, yet no embossed Willys on rear panel. An early MD Juan repro tub??????
Dave,
if you looked at these too closely you’d leave us nothing interesting to post in the Comment Section. That would take the fun out of it, haha. Just keep them coming, you’re doing an awesome job! And Merry Christmas!
Thanks Chuck! Merry Christmas to you, too.
My wife overheard my son and myself talking about this Willys , and the comment was…finish the 44 GPW first………Should have been in the shop talking…..
Lol … That’s funny Joel 🙂
