It’s a Navy photo of USMC and USAF men. That’s working together!

Opportunity for some interesting details this photo reinforces about Jeeps, in particular post war MB/GPWs. First Jeeps into Korea with units were ’45 models, then later the M38A1s. Most M38s went to Europe. Dark paint, USMC OD. Note the pneumatic wipers (both sides). Unseen here in post war MBs radiator hose inserts were eliminated as we now were not short on rubber. Note also the mud flaps front and rear with the rear having a full radius towards the rear wheel and what appears to be a trim pc between the body and the rear mud guard . Rims appear clean as the Jeep. Command staff Jeep prepped for an appearance.
Great details that I hadn’t considered. Thanks!
