Bill Reiss shared these photos he took of a modified CJ-3B used by the Automobile Club of Southern California. It was a feature of the Los Angeles Auto Show earlier this week. (See an example of the club’s 2A set up from 1949 here).

That fabric top is such a strange configure-ration, Trying to figure out why it was made that way. Looks more like a roadster car top from the 1930’s, I wonder if that was intentional.
Mike, agreed. Maybe it’s just a cheap adaptation of an existing top?
