Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This one will likely end up sold to Landrover for the program that they have where they remanufacture these early Rovers back to as new condition with a full factory warranty. This is for clients with deep pockets. I’ve seen one up close and they are very nice.
Interesting. I didn’t know about that program, but seems like a good way to save them. Plenty of deep pockets out there. Just look at the Wagonmaster and his restored Grand Wagoneers.
