UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $10,500.
The seller is upfront about this being a tribute jeep with a 2A body and frame. It looks in good shape.
“1941 WWII Willys Jeep Tribute built on a 1946 body and frame…Looks like a 1941 military vehicle…Originally built in the late 90’s; stored inside since…Frame off restoration…mechanically and cosmetically VERY nice…Runs great…Additional photos and details can be found at Island Classics and Customs; www.islandcc.net…Professional inspections are welcome and encouraged”
That body, grill, and windshield sure look genuine MB to me…sump, rear wheelwells, glovebox, back panel bracing. Only thing I see as 2A is the tranny cover. Frame looks 2A w/steering mounted to crossmember, not axle. Could this be one of those bodies Benzinger sells for that conversion? One of the better MB copies I’ve seen. Kudos to this guy! Most of those so-called ‘conversions’ are simply 2A’s or 3A’s painted OD with a bunch of stenciling and maybe some military ‘components’.
I agree … seems like some extra effort on this one.
would you take lower than 10,000
