UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $14,000.
(02/20/2019) Has some floor patches, but looks like a solid parade jeep.
“This is a 1942 Willys MB Jeep. This Jeep has been converted to a 12 Volt electrical system from the original 6 Volt system. It is an older restoration – please see the pictures for details. In the past it has had some body work done and floor repairs were done with sheet metal. The wiring in this Jeep needs some work and it could us a canvas makeover.
Since this is an older restoration most of the parts on this vehicle are original on this vehicle like the wheels and rifle rack.
This MB is in good driving condition – Perfect for someone starting in the military vehicle hobby or wanting a nice parade vehicle. Comes with all accessories pictured. The pedestal is a homemade pedestal with original .50 Cal’ Cradle.”
Looked at this Jeep. Over priced. Way to much wrong with it. I showed it to a couple friends who do military restorations and they all agree. You’d spend more buying and restoring it than if you bought one already accurately finished.
He also told me he could sell it in Europe for A lot more.
That was little over a year ago. I see he didn’t.
Jack, Based on your observations what would you say the realistic price would be?
