UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7500.
This includes a dolly trailer and Bantam TC3 trailer.
“1959 Jeep CJ3B, 1947 Bantam TC3 trailer and JEEP dolly to haul any flat fender JEEP. 3B has a rebuilt F134 Hurricane engine and runs pretty good. Transmission and transfer case were rebuilt at the same time and were all installed almost 4 years ago. Needs a carb rebuild since it has been sitting. Has a Warn Overdrive installed which gives a 30% reduction in engine speed and doubles the number of gears you have.
All of the work that I have done to it was completed a little over 3 years ago. Complete braking system, except hard lines, was done. BF Goodrich All-Terrains were installed. All seats redone. Duraliner bed liner rolled into the tub. Rattle can paint job in desert tan. Bluetooth stereo.
Jeep is overall in good shape. There are some rust holes and a few places underneath where someone welded on some random plate for repairs. 1947 Bantam is in pretty good shape. Has some rust spots in the tub. Tows great, tires are good and lights work.
Jeep Dolly is made specifically for hauling flat fender Jeeps. Balanced good and has a trailer brake.
Have titles for all. $7,500 cash gets everything and some miscellaneous parts that I have as well.”
Looks like all the right stuff. Be perfect for someone in Austin.
Interesting jeep trailer. Not sure if I like it or not. Hard to tell how much drop there is. Looks like the front axle would hit the hitch pole. Or the transfer case would hit the spare tire. But it must work if he’s hauled Jeeps on it before. If you had a flat tire on the road you would have to unload the jeep to get to the spare. I believe the price is a bit high for around Minnesota.
I’m the owner… no interference with anything when loading and unloading. Jeep would have to be unloaded to remove spare. I have hauled this Jeep and/or another ’54 that I had numerous times to our ranch 75 miles away, to SW Houston over 150 miles away and to Port Aransas 225 miles away.
Thanks for the update James!
