These 1958 Jeepers Jamboree photos reside in the UC David digital archives. They were taken by Jervie Henry Eastman.
Eastman also shot this photo of Ted Corder’s Willys dealership, located in Susanville, California. I’d say this was taken in the late 1940s?
Some great photos, just a curious question; being the EASTMAN and being a photographer, I wonder if there was any family connection to the Eastman Kodak Co.
Mike, I wondered that, too. But, I haven’t yet found evidence that supports that connection.
The bullet nose Studebaker dates it at 1950 or 1951.
There’s a CJ-5 in several pics, so the photo is easily 1955. The date of 1958 seems close or correct to me.
I was focused on the dealership photo.
