UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4500.
Seems like a good price.
“1948 willys CJ 2., Fair condition partially restored Many items replaced brakes brake lines brake cylinders. Wiring. Lights on the dash. New Ignition kit. 4 wheel drive works great. Go devil engine 4 cylinder. Willies use the same production line for these jeeps that was used in the military.”
Nice clone, military dress-up, parade Jeep. I can’t pay much for clones but others may. This Jeep has BULLET STYLE MARKER LIGHTS so it can’t be a 1948 unless a mix of parts. Bullet style ended in late 47 then went to flush mount. I don’t see firewall data plate but there are several ways to identify year. Google Cj2a Identification. It’s true that Willys used same plant/line as military jeeps but no military jeeps were on the line in 47 or 48. They’re all nice jeeps. Keep em running!
Man why do all the good sales seem to be on Facebook nowadays
Looked like a good deal…sold.
Thanks Rick. I’ve updated the post.
