UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $175 ( I have it thanks to Chuck!).
This Bobcat Fiberglass hood looks in good shape. If it were closer, I’d snag it.

Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Dave,
I’m kinda close to this guy and he dropped the price to $100. You know the 51 CJ3A I just bought last week? Well the Buick V6 even though it runs about 180-190 down the road and 220 idling it is still “putting out” way to much heat as far as I’m concerned. So I’m planning a few things like a engine oil cooler, opening up the fender wells around the headers and some sort of “real” outside the engine bay cold air intake. I may go look at this hood this weekend. Thinking I can make into some sort of cold air intake from the back of the rise. Since you seem to know about these; Any tips on what to look for? (the owner doesn’t know the brand; he got it with a Jeep he bought). Can you still lay down the windshield with this hood?
Any help is appreciated!
$100 is a great price. From what I can see in the picture, it looks in great shape. If you buy it and decided you don’t want it, I’ll buy it off you for what you paid. I will be down in northern Cal at some point late this summer as my daughter starts work in Walnut Creek in July.
You won’t be able to lay down the windshield with the bobcat hood.
btw, I actually own an original bobcat hood form. You might find this post of interest: http://www.ewillys.com/2018/02/03/fred-weis-and-the-fiberglass-bobcat-history/
My Buick 231s have run hot as well. My modified 225 didn’t have as many heating problems. I do not have a shroud currently, but pan to add it in hopes that will help the issue. Here’s a thread on that: http://www.earlycj5.com/xf_cj5/index.php?threads/safe-operating-temp-for-225-v6.109451/

Thanks Dave,
I was reading about the “Bobcat” bodies when you sent the link.
I had a Buick 225 in my 46 CJ2A a long long time ago. I don’t remember it putting out this much heat. But I don’t remember a lot of things that far back. Haha.
I also could benefit from a fan shroud.
Have you seen this?:

I have not seen that. I’m not sure if that would work for me or not … I would probably have to custom make mine.
