I am so envious of you guys out west. These types of deals almost never show up here in the northeast. If this was located in near Little Rhody and it all checked out, I would buy a jeep like this in a heartbeat!

looks like a sweet deal, and the Pinto engine is a wise swap. The German version Pinto engine was 1200cc and far superior to the smaller Brit version., a popular swap back in the 70’s. Novak Adapters made kits for this purpose. That 1200cc Pinto engine took a licking and kept on ticking, the best of both worlds.

I just realized I said 1200cc, what was I thinking? I meant 2000cc. Getting too dam tired and too dam old, I don’t want to be an idiot.

Mike .. none of us try to be an idiot, but somehow we all step in it sometimes 🙂 … And I agree with you on the Pinto engine. Dad had a Chev 350 in his CJ-5 that was always having problems. He swapped in a 2L pinto engine and that sucker was super dependable and a great jeeping motor. (on the road, not so powerful but at least it worked).

Is it me or the front wheels are slightly forward or I’m just seeing things.

I just can’t tell, but it’s certainly possible given the other mods.
