Agree with Clam Beach. Coastal California air is salty and eats away at cars parked outside. Depends on how close the car is parked to the saltwater.
During high school, a good friend lived in Pine Hill, right above Humboldt Bay in Eureka. He parked his CRX outside every night. Five years later, the windshield frame rusted out.
In San Francisco, the local electric utility has different replacement schedules for pole-mounted equipment based on how close the poles are to the ocean. There are three different schedules within a three mile stretch.
This Willys looks nice, but just because a car for sale is from California doesn’t mean it’s rust-free.
