Paul Barry is at this year’s Portland Swap Meet in Oregon. He spotted several jeeps for sale.
Looks like a Parkway, but isn’t:
A couple Jeepsters for $7000:
These flat fenders are all at the same booth:
I believe this is the same p# as above:
Wagon for $19,000:
Now that sounds like a good price.
that 1960 ” BARN DOOR ” willys wagon looks interesting — its not a PARKWAY CONVERSION — but it has the sedan delivery rear doors ? — were the delivery doors an option ? — was this wagon retrofitted with them ? — ps , I have the 3rd 1951 sedan delivery made , serial number 10003 — JEALOUS ?
You are correct Godfre, it is not a Parkway but a Wagon with delivery rear doors. I have documented several of these over the years, they have the regular wagon VIN number and all appear to be a factory modification. This particular wagon has a slant six Chrysler motor and the rear wheel openings were radiused by a previous owner, the absence of factory tail lamps and brackets on the rear doors reveals some use of polyester filler
