“1966 1967 Borg Warner T-86 3 Speed Transmission! Part Number T 86 -1A 4! With R10B -1 E Overdrive! Comes Complete as Shown! Working Condition Unknown! Storage Find! Stored Indoors!”
With all those exclamation points I must need this very bad and dont know it.
something screwy about this transmission ? looks like a t-96 to me ? the t-86 had 6 bolts on the top cover . i see the picture showing the casting model number , it must say t-96 , though the 9 looks like a 8 ?
im wondering if my shift tower will bolt up. I need a T 96 for my 1946 Gibson Tractor, it is short with a 3 1/2 tail shaft and machined front shaft for a 6 1/2 dia # 50 chain sprocket . ive looked all over S. Texas for a T 96
