“1947 CJ2A Willys jeep. Older paint, rebuilt 4 cyl., new brake system with new line kit installed , steering rebuild kit and complete new exhaust system included, new BEST top. Runs great. 5700.00 ”
Nice looking Jeep at a good price, color combo very similar to my 48 CJ2A. I bought my 48 on December 15, 1975, at that time, I paid $1500.00 for a redone, (not restored like today’s standard) with a rebuilt engine, which seemed like a lot of money in those days. Holy crow, that was 43 years ago, in all those years, maybe 1500 miles of just tooling around town. If you factor in the cost of ownership and inflation, you are not going to get rich by investing in vintage vehicles.
