Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Fred Caldwell mentions the ad in his book “Selling the All-American Wonder“. According to him, this is one of the few Ford-sponsor, jeep-related Ford ads.
