Update: **Sold** was $3000.
Has body liner on the exterior. The steps have been modified and drain holes filled. It runs and drives (under 30mph).
“1953 jeep Willy’s orginial 4 cylinder runs good, 4×4 works, runs and drives and stops, needs tires and lights wired to be daily also a windshield, needs to be trailered home, flexible on price need space, don’t need help selling, title in hand,(can do 30 mph safely) but after that it gets unsafe”
Looks like a home made body.
Did you buy this from a guy in Plainfield by chance?
FYI: It appears this Jeep has sold, so I suspect the previous owner probably won’t see your question. I have updated the post.
Thanks,

the reason I ask, I may have owned this Jeep back in the ’90s. I bought a Philippines body but never got around to finishing the project. there aren’t many of these around Illinois.
I wish I had more info about the seller for you, but all I had was the now-dead link to the ad.
I can relate, since after 15 years of running ewillys I still haven’t seen the jeep I built back in the 1980s go up for sale (there are some unique things about it that I would recognize).
Best of luck!
