(11/05/2018) Seller believes this to have been manufactured in November of 1945 (but sold in ’46), but I have not run across any evidence of this. It’s a serial number 23785. It has a replacement body.

“1945 CJ2 (research shows it was manufactured in Nov-1945. Technically it is a 1946 but registered and titled as a 1945 4WD, 3spd manual, has 130cc Ford 4-cyl., Navy grey paint, Warn hubs, odometer reflects only miles put on it when it was restored (30years ago). Custom canvas top with matching canvas on seats. This is not mine, belongs to my neighbor…84 year old retired naval fighter pilot. He stated frame, drivetrain, engine, hood, grill and fenders are original but the body is a reproduction, original was rusted badly.
